How to Pitch Your Story or Script

As a premier film production house in West Bengal, Filmopixel is dedicated to finding and developing compelling narratives. We invite you to submit your story for consideration. Crucial First Step: Before submitting, please ensure your script or story is officially registered to protect your intellectual property. A strong submission includes:

  • A short and compelling summary (logline)
  • A clear and detailed story outline/synopsis

Every submission is reviewed with care by our creative team. While we can't accept every project, we value the effort and creativity of every writer. Keep refining your craft—your big break could be just one pitch away.

Your Pitch Checklist

Follow these steps to craft a professional pitch that captures our attention. A well-prepared submission highlights your creativity and gives your story the best chance of being selected.

1. Title and Genre

Start with a clear title and the primary genre (e.g., Drama, Thriller, Comedy). This gives our team an immediate sense of your story's tone and audience.

2. Compelling Logline

Craft an intriguing one-to-two sentence logline (under 500 characters). This is your hook—make it memorable and clearly state the core conflict of your story.

3. Detailed Synopsis

Write a detailed synopsis (up to 3000 characters) that outlines the main plot, introduces key characters, and establishes the central conflict. Present the story's journey, but feel free to keep the final twist a secret.

5. Resubmission Details (If Applicable)

If this is a resubmission, briefly explain the key revisions you've made since your last pitch. We appreciate writers who are dedicated to improving their work.

6. Visuals (Optional)

Have a lookbook, concept art, or a mood board? We'd love to see it. Visual references can be a powerful tool to help us envision the world of your story.
